Prolectric have been an outstanding supplier of ours in recent months, from point-of-sale to product support there is nothing I can fault them on. Their products are fantastic and save our customers a fortune financially, as well as reducing carbon emissions by substantial amounts across various site locations. A key thing about Prolectric, is you are not left on your own when you buy the product, which can be daunting to those trying to enter the world of solar power, the support is truly unmatched. With special thanks to Nick and Mitch for all their assistance since we bought the first unit, we now run a small fleet of them.

We installed our first ProPower at the beginning of June 2022, and the backup generator didn’t run once in the first month. Customers are seeing savings of up to £6.5k per month per unit on fuel alone. We can map their load profile and turn things on and off remotely for the customer so it’s all running as optimally as possible. It’s very efficient compared to the traditional diesel generators used for these functions. Also, compared to the old tech, there’s a lot less servicing required because the generator runs less frequently.

The JV welcomed the opportunity to participate in the trial of this new sustainable power solution, confirming it as a viable and more sustainable alternative to traditional generators, and look forward to working with Prolectric again in the future.

Since the start of the 52-week hire period in July, the ProPower Solar Hybrid Generator engine only ran for around 16% of the time. This substantial reduction in generator usage translated to massive fuel savings and significantly lowered overall emissions on the site. The overall site was powered by solar and battery alone, showcasing the effectiveness of Prolectric’s products in providing sustainable and reliable energy solutions.
