As the Innovation Lead at Prolectric, I work closely with colleagues and customers to develop and align our product development plan with our vision to power the world’s off-grid energy needs with smart, clean, renewable technology. I hold an MSc in Renewable Energy and the Built Environment and a BSc in Physics with Nanotechnology, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to design and build cutting-edge products and systems. My over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, allows me to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that can transform the industry and the environment.
I am passionate about collaborating with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and projects that meet the needs and expectations of our customers. At Prolectric I can leverage my skills in research, sustainability, and product development to gather ideas and feedback, design prototypes, build our 5-year product development plan and take projects from ideas to prototypes. In the IoT space, I manage the in-house software and electronics team to design and build smart IoT solutions to help us monitor, control and report on our products and equipment out in the field.
In line with our sustainable approach, I am responsible for making sure that everything we do, stays on track with our vision by carbon reporting on our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions as well as coming up with a sustainability plan to take us to Net Zero – and that the approach we take is auditable via CSR-A.
