Prolectric’s smart, clean technology is tried, tested and proven to work across the UK. Our products have been deployed to some of the UK’s most notable infrastructure projects including nuclear plants Hinkley Point C, Sizewell and Sellafield. Our products are helping reduce carbon emissions and costs across a wide range of sectors including construction, events, utilities, housebuilders, facilities management, ports and airports.
Since launching our first temporary lighting tower in 2016 our generators and lighting towers have saved over $10m in costs and 32,086 tons of CO2e by working in partnership with our customers. Here are just some of the projects in which our temporary solar lighting towers, hybrid generators and permanent street lights have been deployed.
What our clients have to say
After the initial concern of suggesting to run a diesel generator 24/7 for the project duration, Magnox hired the ProPower Solar Hybrid Generator. The evident demonstration of the effectiveness of commercially available solar hybrid equipment has been the driving force behind this investigation. This provided a great example of sustainable solutions meeting the needs of projects on site and demonstrates the applicability of using solar hybrid systems.

As an established leading temporary electrical contractor for events, television, and festivals for 20 years, we were looking to offer our clients a greener and more sustainable option for their temporary power requirements.
We initially loved the idea of Prolectric’s Solar Hybrid Generator, the ProPower, but for it to work in our applications, we needed to make some adjustments. Prolectric’s development team worked closely with us to work to a solution that suited us perfectly.
We are more than happy with both the service and the product that Prolectric offer and are excited to see our clients benefit from such an innovative product.

The JV welcomed the opportunity to participate in the trial of this new sustainable power solution, confirming it as a viable and more sustainable alternative to traditional generators, and look forward to working with Prolectric again in the future.

The great thing about Prolectric’ s ProLights is that we haven’t had to touch them since they were delivered. If we wanted to change the settings we simply called Prolectric and adjusted the settings using their portal. It made sense for us to use our site resources elsewhere and let Prolectric manage the lights for us and ensure we get optimal usage from them.

We frequently need to maintain screens, set up temporary defences, apply temporary structures, or operate gates and sluices in an emergency situation during the hours of darkness. The beauty of the technology is that it is activated only as-needed by PIR motion sensors and without the fumes or noise nuisance from a diesel generator tower light. The ProTemp light is easy to position using a fork lift for temporary defences. We also have the option to transfer the lighting unit to a permanent post and provide a permanent installation.
