Prolectric’s smart, clean technology is tried, tested and proven to work across the UK. Our products have been deployed to some of the UK’s most notable infrastructure projects including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell and Sellafield. Our products are helping reduce carbon emissions and costs across a wide range of sectors including construction, events, utilities, housebuilders, facilities management, ports and airports.
Since launching our first temporary lighting tower in 2016 our generators and lighting towers have saved over £10m in costs and 27m kgs of CO2e by working in partnership with our customers. Here are just some of the projects in which our temporary solar lighting towers, hybrid generators and permanent street lights have been deployed.
What our clients have to say
After researching the product more, we decided to install 20x Prolectric ProTemp Temporary Solar Street Lights onsite. The deployment took less than an hour. The ProTemps produced an excellent level of light and I am pleased with their performance through the harsh winter months. As well as the savings from zero running costs, it has been fantastic to use a renewable lighting product from Prolectric. It otherwise would have taken 4 to 6 weeks to get power to site at a great expense.
Martin Kemp
Senior Electrical Engineer
Having purchased Prolectric’s ProLight’s over the last few years, we couldn’t argue with their expertise and quality of products. Trialling the ProPower, the savings spoke for themselves. Adding the Prolectric solar hybrid generators to our plant fleet will see us make big steps towards our goal of net zero by 2050. The remote access to the power portal allows us to monitor the performance and run carbon and cost savings reports so we can show our clients the impact of these solar hybrid generators.

Hire Desk Manager
After the initial concern of suggesting to run a diesel generator 24/7 for the project duration, Magnox hired the Prolectric ProPower Solar Hybrid Generator. The evident demonstration of the effectiveness of commercially available solar hybrid equipment has been the driving force behind this investigation. This provided a great example of sustainable solutions meeting the needs of projects on site and demonstrates the applicability of using solar hybrid systems.
Jack Armitage
Consultant
As an established leading temporary electrical contractor for events, television, and festivals for 20 years, we were looking to offer our clients a greener option for their temporary power requirements. We loved the idea of Prolectric’s Solar Hybrid Generator, the ProPower. We are more than happy with both the service and the product that Prolectric offer and are excited to see our clients benefit from such an innovative product.
Jerry Stevens

The JV welcomed the opportunity to participate in the trial of this new sustainable power solution from Prolectric, confirming it as a viable and more sustainable alternative to traditional generators, and look forward to working with Prolectric again in the future.
