The AWARD-WINNING Prolectric ProLight is the only mobile solar lighting tower in the UK that operates reliably all year round, even in challenging winter conditions. The ProLight delivers powerful light without noise or emissions and offers a robust alternative to temporary diesel lighting for infrastructure, construction projects and events.

The ProLight will never need to be refuelled and its digital, built-in, remote-control function means you can alter its settings as required to suit the light conditions without the need to attend the light onsite. With the data collected, you can track its performance – or ask us to do it for you.  Not only that, but we can provide you with regular reports detailing how much carbon you have saved compared to a conventional alternative.

It is straightforward to switch to ProLight.  For contractors and events organisers, the ProLight is a ‘setup and forget’ asset that makes no noise and does not need to be refuelled or serviced.

Smart Technology

Every ProLight is fitted with a microcontroller, the Prolectric Hub, and GPS tracking, so it can be switched on and off remotely, and key data such as power generated/consumed and light on/off settings, can be monitored and recorded.

Customers are provided with real-time access to our Smart Remote Portal monitoring and reporting service that autonomously optimises the tower lights performance, as well as giving monthly reports of a range of performance and diagnostics data including carbon savings.

The ProLight’s high-power 1,520W total capacity is three times that of any other temporary solar tower light on the market. Even on winter days with 16 hours of darkness, the unit operates consistently and reliably.

Does the ProRXM have GPS tracking?

Yes, you can see each units location, anywhere in the world with a internet connection, on our Smart Remote Portal.

How much diesel does the ProRXM Solar Tower Light save?

On average our ProRXM saves 1,680 litres compared to the next most efficient diesel tower light. The ProRXM saves 100% of diesel as it is a solar only unit.

What is the ProRXM’s battery life expectancy?

2,000 cycles. However, this is not 2,000 days. Majority of the year (roughly 9 months), the lights do not go through a full cycle every day. They are expected therefore to last between 4 – 7 years dependent on the level and number of full discharges.

What is the business case for a Solar Lighting Tower?

Despite initially costing more to purchase, on average our ProRXM is cost neutral with the most efficient diesel lighting tower after 1 year and 8 months. This is due to the significant operational cost savings. Every year thereafter users save £3,000 per annum on average. Over a 5 year period the total saving is over £16,000 and 7 years is over £25,000.

Can the Solar Lighting Towers be remotely managed?

Yes, the lights can be managed and monitored remotely via our SmartRemote Portal. You can see the solar yield, remaining battery reserves and usage, additionally you can turn off the lights off remotely.

What are the cost savings of a Solar Tower lights compared to a traditional diesel tower lights?

On average our customers save £3.000 per year per light compared to traditional diesel units. This includes the reduction in fuel costs, operatives to refuel diesel units and servicing and maintenance.

Is there any servicing required of a Lighting Tower?

Yes. We recommend every 12 months a service is undertaken. This includes a check cable, service and connections as well as to lubricate runners and mast and check tyre pressures. However, as our batteries have been programmed to be the smartest in the market, there is no need to follow a battery draining programme where you fully drain the battery to preserves its longevity.
