Templine is a leading electrical specialist, supplying temporary electrical installations to small local events and concerts to major festivals, film premieres, live and recorded television shows and prestigious equine events, worldwide.
Challenge
With a large fleet of equipment Templine wanted to provide their clients with a sustainable option for their temporary power requirements.
Their current fleet of off-grid power provides power supply to PA systems, light trusses, staging etc. so the generator required would need customisations.

The Result
Our collaboration with Templine yielded noteworthy results:
- Operational Efficiency: Our ProPower unit demonstrated outstanding performance, contributing to increased operational efficiency.
- Customisations: The customisations allowed Templine to connect their own generators to the ProPower Solar Hybrid Generator to charge up the batteries faster and to hybridise their own set up. Additional sockets were also added as Templine needed the ability to connect their existing systems and DB boards.
- Environmental Responsibility: By adopting our solar solutions, Templine actively participated in reducing their and their customers carbon footprints.

Since the start of the 52-week hire period in July, the ProPower Solar Hybrid Generator engine only ran for around 16% of the time. This substantial reduction in generator usage translated to massive fuel savings and significantly lowered overall emissions on the site. The overall site was powered by solar and battery alone, showcasing the effectiveness of Prolectric’s products in providing sustainable and reliable energy solutions.
