We installed our first ProPower in June 2022, and the backup generator didn’t run once in the first month. Customers are seeing savings of up to £6.5k per month per unit on fuel alone. We can map their load profile and turn things on and off remotely so it’s all running optimally. It’s very efficient compared to traditional diesel generators. Also, there’s a lot less servicing required because the generator runs less frequently.

Since the start of the 52-week hire period in July, the ProPower Solar Hybrid Generator engine only ran for around 16% of the time. This substantial reduction in generator usage translated to massive fuel savings and significantly lowered overall emissions on the site. The overall site was powered by solar and battery alone, showcasing the effectiveness of Prolectric’s products in providing sustainable and reliable energy solutions.

As an established leading temporary electrical contractor for events, television, and festivals for 20 years, we were looking to offer our clients a greener option for their temporary power requirements. We loved the idea of Prolectric’s Solar Hybrid Generator, the ProPower. We are more than happy with both the service and the product that Prolectric offer and are excited to see our clients benefit from such an innovative product.
