Logistics planning and delivery

All products will be delivered to you having undergone a full pre-rental assessment or pre-sale commissioning process, as well as being valeted, fuelled, fully charged and accompanied with all the appropriate charging cables/leads where required.

A full handover will be provided at point of delivery with our representative, who will run through the key functionalities of the product provided and answer any questions you may have.

Servicing and maintenance

We provide ongoing technical support for purchased mechanical and electrical systems through our maintenance packages.

Specifying The Products

  • We use a Requirements Checklist to ensure that all equipment is suitable for site requirements.
  • The checklist is a list of pre-set requirements which help to ensure the product runs efficiently during its time on site.
  • It is recommended that the requirement checks are carried out by a qualified person.

Looking After Your Products

  • We recommend using the Service and Maintenance Checklist to maintain and look after your products.
  • The checklist is a list of pre-use/service checks which, if completed, will help to prolong the life of the product as well as improve general safety.
  • It is recommended that the checks are carried out by a qualified engineer.

Maintenance

  • We will ensure solar tower lights and hybrid generators remain compliant and operational by carrying out required services out onsite.
  • Our maintenance team will arrange attendance on a date and time that suits you. You will be contacted on the day to act as a reminder and ensure the appointment can still go ahead.
  • Servicing typically takes 1-2 hours depending on the type of unit and its condition.

Breakdowns

  • In the event of a breakdown, please call our breakdown team for assistance.
  • If the fault cannot be fixed over the phone for either an in or out of hours breakdown call, we will endeavour to have an engineer attend site to rectify the issue within 24 hours.

Damage Repairs

  • In the event that an item is found to be damaged, images will be taken and our administrative teams will arrange for a full quotation to be sent to you for authorisation within 5 working days.
  • Upon receipt of a purchase order for the costs quoted, the engineer will then arrange to reattend site once all parts have been acquired.

Off Hiring

  • To action an off hire, please email operations@prolectric.co.uk stating the asset number(s) you wish to off hire and their current location(s). Once you have off hired your equipment, we will complete the required collection as soon as possible.

Training

  • Training is provided upon purchase of all products and tailored training packages are available based on size of order and customer requirements.
  • User manuals are available for all products.
  • Further help guide videos and troubleshooting guides are available.

How To Best Use Our Solar-Powered Equipment

  • Where possible, wash every 6-8 weeks to ensure the solar panels and body of the unit remain clean.
  • Ensure the product is setup/operated as per the guide sticker located on the side panelling.
  • Ensure the panels are fully extended and facing south, except in high winds then both panels and mast are retracted.
