The innovative Prolectric ProRXM has been specially developed as a compact solar lighting tower that provides completely reliable, bright solar lighting in the same footprint as a standard VT1 diesel generator light. The ProRXM complements our award-winning ProLight Solar Lighting Tower, still offering a high performance, low operating cost alternative to diesel, while facilitating cost-efficient transportation and installation in smaller spaces.

Reliable Year Round Lighting

The ProRXM operates reliably all year round, even in challenging winter conditions. The trailer mounted battery bank has sufficient capacity to ensure that even on winter days with 16 hours of darkness, the unit operates consistently and reliably.

Smart Technology

Our Smart Remote Portal allows you to manage your ProRXM’s performance which can be monitored remotely and can also identify if the system is running low on battery capacity, which in turn allows your teams to quickly respond onsite.

Continual Savings

As a solar-only tower light the ProRXM emits no fumes or greenhouse gas emissions using no fuel thereby saving you on fuel and refuelling costs and avoid spills. As there is no generator maintenance is extremely low and it becomes a truly ‘setup and forget’ machine.

The ProRXM is a portable trailer mounted tower light with a retractable towbar and our Automatic Mast Safety System (PAMS) is a fail-safe system built-in to avoid danger and personnel injury.

What are the cost savings of a Solar Tower lights compared to a traditional diesel tower lights?

On average our customers save £3,000 per year per light compared to traditional diesel units. This includes the reduction in fuel costs, operatives to refuel diesel units and servicing and maintenance.

What is the business case for a Solar Lighting Tower?

On average our Tower Lights are cost neutral compared to the most efficient diesel lighting tower after 1 year and 8 months. This is due to the significant operational cost savings. Every year thereafter users save £3,000 per annum on average. Over a 5 year period the total saving is over £16,000 and 7 years is over £25,000.

How much diesel does the ProRXM Solar Tower Light save?

On average our ProRXM saves 1,680 litres compared to the next most efficient diesel tower light. The ProRXM saves 100% of diesel as it is a solar only unit.

What is the ProRXM’s battery life expectancy?

2,000 cycles. However, this is not 2,000 days. Majority of the year (roughly 9 months), the lights do not go through a full cycle every day. They are expected therefore to last between 4 – 7 years dependent on the level and number of full discharges.

Is there any servicing required of a Lighting Tower?

Yes. We recommend every 12 months a service is undertaken. This includes a check cable, service and connections as well as to lubricate runners and mast and check tyre pressures. However, as our batteries have been programmed to be the smartest in the market, there is no need to follow a battery draining programme where you fully drain the battery to preserves its longevity.

Can the Solar Lighting Towers be remotely managed?

Yes, the lights can be managed and monitored remotely via our SmartRemote Portal. You can see the solar yield, remaining battery reserves and usage, additionally you can turn off the lights off remotely.

Does the ProRXM have GPS tracking?

Yes, you can see each units location, anywhere in the world with a internet connection, on our Smart Remote Portal.
