Clevedon based off-grid renewable power specialists, Prolectric, have announced plans for further significant expansion.
Prolectric has seen major growth over the past two years – in the process catching the eye of publicly limited infrastructure and galvanizing FTSE 250 company, Hill & Smith Plc, who acquired the company in March 2021.
A strong pipeline for 2022 and beyond has set Prolectric on a path to continue this growth. To support this, the coming months will see Prolectric expand their nationwide logistics network and recruit for key roles within their team.
A new operations depot in Liverpool will service the north of England and Scotland, adding to Prolectric’s existing nationwide presence and bringing their award-winning, renewable technology (including solar tower lights and solar hybrid generators) to customers in the north with minimal turnaround times.
Customers will also have closer access to product servicing, while the additional storage capacity will facilitate further expansion of Prolectric’s product line, by freeing up production and manufacturing space at their main headquarters in Clevedon.
A recruitment drive will see Prolectric fill key roles within the marketing, sales, product development and operations teams – adding to recent additions in finance and engineering.
These plans will help Prolectric continue to deliver the world-class off-grid renewable power products and customer service that the industry, and investors, have recognised.
“We have seen exponential growth in the company over the last few years and we’ve no plans to slow that down either. With our growth, sees the scaling of our operations and investment in our facilities, logistics capabilities and team generally. This is all essential in delivering against our vision and mission to accelerate the change to a more sustainable future for business, communities and the planet – through providing innovative, environmentally friendly and cost effective solutions for sustainable lighting, power and security.” Rachel Preen, Commercial Director, Prolectric.
The expansion comes less than a month after Prolectric announced a series of major orders for their innovative range of solar hybrid generators. More on this story CLICK HERE
