What is your current role, and what are your main responsibilities?

As a Sustainable Technology Consultant, I collaborate closely with our marketing team to target sectors where we can make the biggest impact in reducing CO2 emissions and operational costs. I’m often the first point of contact—gathering crucial info and recommending products to boost site efficiency before passing the baton to our Business Development Managers.

What inspired you to pursue this field, and how did you get started?

I joined Prolectric in November 2022, transitioning from a lead generation role to advance my career within the marketing space. The renewable energy sector excites me, and I’m driven by the chance to grow alongside an industry that’s shaping the future.

Can you share an example of a successful project you worked on, and what made it successful?

While I don’t manage individual projects, I’ve forged connections with tier-one companies that are now moving forward with game-changing projects using our technology. Building these partnerships is key to our success.

How do you see the industry evolving in the next 5-10 years, and what trends do you think will drive this evolution?

Solar is undeniably the future. From the conversations I have, it’s clear the industry is heading in the right direction. Every company has sustainability targets to hit, and we’re here to help them meet those goals. Our carbon calculator makes it easy to see how we’re delivering real savings in both emissions and costs.

How do you think technology is impacting the industry, and what opportunities and challenges does this present?

Our technology evolves with the industry, ensuring we remain at the forefront. We love working with clients on custom projects, and our R&D team thrives on tackling the challenges that come with innovation.

What are some common misconceptions about your industry or field you can dispel?

One of the biggest myths? That solar doesn’t work in winter. The truth is, our solar solutions are built for year-round performance. Our technology has been rigorously tested to deliver reliable lighting and power, no matter the season—without sacrificing quality.
